Never Lose Hope

I am honestly very sad and angry with where I see the world at right now.  I can't stand the hate and division between people right now, I don't like the corruption I know is happening in government and how media seems to add more fuel to the fire.  At times I feel myself grow cynical over humanity, but I know that in itself is wrong.  If we give up so easily on ourselves, then what's the point of every making progress in our lives?  We all as individuals have those bad phases in our lives where we seem to hit rock-bottom and can't seem to pull ourselves out, and right now that's where society seems to be at.  There are a lot of misguided people out there with hearts tainted by hate.  There have been plenty of catalysts to trigger what has happened but I know that the way to offset is not through retaliation but by people coming together in their communities, uniting as individuals to support and carry each other.  To forgive and forget past misgivings, acknowledge that all life matters, learn and educate ourselves on how to better people.  Honesty, compassion and accountability needs to become more prominent in our society than the pride and deception that has been running rampant.  It's not about what color, nationality, social class or you are, we are all in this together.
